Seton Catholic came tearing into Thursday's game with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.6 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 83-47 victory over the Kalama Chinooks. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 26 points or more this season.

Several Chinooks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aubrey Doerty, who almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine boards. That was a full 38.3% of Kalama's points, marking the third time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points. Hannah Johnson was another key player, putting up 15 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.

Seton Catholic's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points per game. As for Kalama, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seton Catholic will head out to square off against Stevenson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kalama, they are taking a road trip to take on La Center at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kalama is facing La Center at the right time seeing as La Center is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
