Newberry Academy has not had much luck with Richard Winn Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Richard Winn Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Miller Stuck out in front who scored nine points along with 12 rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Charlie Bonds, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
Newberry Academy now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Richard Winn Academy, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-1.
Newberry Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Oconee Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Oconee Christian Academy is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games. As for Richard Winn Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Wardlaw Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
