Basketball Recap: Central Dragons vs. Penn Cambria Panthers
After flying high against Bald Eagle Area on Friday, Central came back down to earth. The Central Dragons were just a bucket shy of victory on Saturday and fell 61-60 to the Penn Cambria Panthers. The Dragons were up 54-38 in the third quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.
Penn Cambria's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gavin Harrold, who went 6 for 12 on his way to 16 points and five boards. That's the most points Harrold has posted since back in January of 2024. Landon Semelsberger was another key player, putting up 13 points.
