Basketball Recap: Central Cass Squirrels vs. Wahpeton Huskies
Central Cass was the 66-58 winner over Wahpeton when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The game between the Central Cass Squirrels and the Wahpeton Huskies didn't end well, with the Central Cass Squirrels falling 59-43.
Wahpeton had a senior duo take command as Halle Miller went 7-for-13 to rack up 18 points in addition to five boards and five steals and Scout Woods went 5-for-9 en route to 16 points and eight rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Miller has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Claire Woods, who posted nine points.
Central Cass' defeat dropped their record down to 15-5. As for Wahpeton, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 7-12 record this season.
Central Cass has already played their next contest, a 76-74 loss against Shiloh Christian on the 8th. As for Wahpeton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 64-59 victory against Northern Cass on the 10th.
