Basketball Recap: Ravenna Comes Up Short

Ravenna suffered their closest loss since February 23, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Whitehall Vikings by a score of 37-34. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Ravenna's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Whitehall, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season.

The future could be bright for both Ravenna and Whitehall: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Ravenna will look to extend North Muskegon's three-game losing streak when the meet at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Whitehall will try to hand Orchard View their third-straight defeat when the two meet at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
