Football Recap: Durand Comes Up Short

Durand fell victim to Montrose and their airtight defense on Friday. They were dealt a 45-0 loss at the hands of the Rams. Having soared to a lofty 40 points in the game before, the Railroaders' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Having lost for the first time this season, Durand fell to 2-1. As for Montrose, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Durand is set to take on their familiar foe Ovid-Elsie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Montrose will challenge rival Lakeville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
