Soccer Recap: Mountain Range Comes Up Short

Mountain Range was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Jefferson Academy Jaguars, falling 5-0. If Mountain Range were looking for revenge after losing 7-0 to Jefferson Academy when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Mountain Range's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Jefferson Academy, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Mountain Range will host Erie at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Erie's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Jefferson Academy, they will venture away from home to square off against Arrupe Jesuit at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
