Game recap: Edison High School Football Team wins against Clovis West

FRESNO, Calif. - the Tigers scored 27 points in the second quarter to secure a big 41-15 victory over Clovis West (Fresno, Calif.) on Saturday.

Edison scored on a touchdown run by Khari McGee, a Blake Wright touchdown run, a McGee touchdown pass to Tyrone Smith and a touchdown pass by McGee to Deondre Howard in the quarter.

EHS was up 34-7 at the half after taking the lead on a McGee touchdown run in the second quarter.

With the win the Tigers extended their winning streak to five games. Edison defeated the Knights 41-21 last week.

McGee played well for EHS in the victory. The junior quarterback threw two touchdowns and ran for one touchdown.

The Golden Eagles' Victor Bonner played well. The senior running back ran for one touchdown.



Coming into the game the Tigers had allowed 26.0 points per game this year.

A 31-14 Edison victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.

Clovis West (2-9) goes up against Central when it takes the field next week. The Grizzlies enter the tilt sporting a 8-2 record for the season.
