Volleyball Game Preview: Northside Patriots vs. Beauregard Hornets + How To Watch

The Northside Patriots will venture away from home to take on the Beauregard Hornets at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.

Northside is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Starr's Mill just ended the team's six-match winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, Beauregard earned a 3-1 win over Benjamin Russell on Wednesday.

Beauregard had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 13-25, 25-13, 25-23, 25-19.

Northside's defeat dropped their record down to 16-16. As for Beauregard, their victory bumped their record up to 15-10.

Everything went Northside's way against Beauregard when the teams last played back in September, as Northside made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Patriots since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
