Basketball Recap: Booker T. Washington Comes Up Short

Booker T. Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 69-33 loss at the hands of the Great Bridge Wildcats. The Mighty Bookers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Booker T. Washington's record is now 0-14. As for Great Bridge, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-15.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Booker T. Washington won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Churchland at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Great Bridge, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll challenge Lakeland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Someone's luck will take a turn for the better: Great Bridge has lost 12 straight at home (dating back to last season), while Lakeland has lost three on the road.
