Baseball Recap: Hope Takes a Loss

Hope was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 28th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Magnolia Panthers, falling 10-2. The Bobcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Hope saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack Johnson, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Hope's loss dropped their record down to 0-20. As for Magnolia, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hope will square off against Horatio at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Magnolia, they will challenge Arkansas at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
