South Davidson has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the West Davidson Dragons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Last Friday, South Davidson took a serious blow against East Davidson, falling 75-37. South Davidson was down 58-29 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
South Davidson's loss came about despite a quality game from Kayra Hulin, who scored 24 points along with eight rebounds. That was a full 64.9% of South Davidson's points, marking the seventh time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Meanwhile, West Davidson pushed their score all the way to 55 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. Their tough 77-55 loss to North Rowan might stick with them for a while. West Davidson has struggled against North Rowan recently, as their contest on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
South Davidson's loss dropped their record down to 4-18. As for West Davidson, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-13.
