Volleyball Recap: Red Bank Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Red Bank unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Collegedale Academy Collegedale Eagle on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-14, 25-11.

When it comes to explaining why Red Bank lost, don't look at Bria Smith. Despite the final result, she had six digs and four aces.

Red Bank didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Chattanooga Central on the 21st. As for Collegedale Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts on the 21st.
