Wells's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wendover Wildcats, sneaking past 2-1. The Leopards haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

In the two sets Wells was on fire: they won each by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-12, 25-12.

Wells picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 4-10. As for Wendover, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.

Wells wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Summit Academy on the 19th. As for Wendover, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Maeser Prep Academy on the 19th.
