Gilead Christian posted their biggest victory since February 17, 2024 on Monday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 45-17 win over the Warsaw W Warriors. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 50-46 back in December of 2024.

Among those leading the charge was Talan Blankenship, who went 7 for 9 en route to 18 points. Aden Wagner was another key player, putting up four points along with ten boards and five steals.

Gilead Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Warsaw W only racked up three assists.

Despite the loss, Warsaw W saw an underclassman step up: freshman Gavin Gress posted eight points and six rebounds. Those eight points gave Gress a new career-high.

Gilead Christian is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. As for Warsaw W, they moved to 7-10 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Gilead Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 47-44 loss against Zanesville Christian on the 31st. As for Warsaw W, they will host Gospel Haven Academy at 7:00 p.m. on February 4th. Gospel Haven Academy's defense has only allowed 22.3 points per game this season, so Warsaw W's offense will have their work cut out for them.
