Basketball Game Preview: Fike Golden Demons vs. J.H. Rose Rampants

The Fike Golden Demons and the J.H. Rose Rampants will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fike knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully J.H. Rose likes a good challenge.

Fike made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Farmville Central, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Golden Demons fell just short of the Jaguars by a score of 62-60 on Saturday. The Golden Demons have struggled against the Jaguars recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, J.H. Rose strolled past North Brunswick with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 88-72. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rampants.

J.H. Rose now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Fike, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Fike was able to grind out a solid victory over J.H. Rose in their previous matchup last Thursday, winning 68-60. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Golden Demons since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
