Volleyball Recap: Dartmouth Indians vs. Barnstable Red Hawks
Dartmouth came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Barnstable Red Hawks. The Indians were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Red Hawks earlier this season, when they won 3-1.
While Dartmouth had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-19, 25-19.
Chloe McKinnon paced Dartmouth's offense, picking up 20 kills. McKinnon got some help from Lindsey Barber and her 28 assists. Jillian DuBois controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Leading Barnstable to victory were Jazzy Coyer and Molly Colantuono. Coyer had eight digs and two aces, while Colantuono had five aces and three digs.
