Soccer Recap: Wabash Takes a Loss

Wabash was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Northwestern Tigers, falling 7-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Wabash of the 5-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Their goal came courtesy of Alyssa Rose, which was the first she's scored this season.

Wabash's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Northwestern, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2-1 record this season.

Wabash will be playing in front of their home fans against Manchester at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northwestern, they will face off against University at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
