The Humphreys Able Charter Legacy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 48-47 to Vanguard College Prep. Humphreys Able Charter has not had much luck with Vanguard College Prep recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Vanguard College Prep was led to victory by Gustavo Mora and Nathan Muriithi. Mora scored 14 points along with four steals, while Muriithi dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds. Mora hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games.

Humphreys Able Charter dropped their record down to 5-7 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Vanguard College Prep, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-16.

Humphreys Able Charter's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Stockton Christian at 5:00 p.m. on February 6th. As for Vanguard College Prep, they will head out on the road to challenge Tioga at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
