Lakeland is a perfect 10-0 against Tenoroc since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Dreadnaughts will look to defend their home field against the Titans at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Tenoroc will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Lakeland extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday. The Dreadnaughts' pitchers stepped up to hand City of Life Christian Academy an 8-0 shutout. Considering the Dreadnaughts have won six contests by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Tenoroc had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past Discovery 21-11 on Tuesday. The Titans not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 9, 2024 (when they won 20-3).

Lakeland's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-12. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Tenoroc, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-7.

Everything went Lakeland's way against Tenoroc in their previous meeting back in March, as Lakeland made off with a 19-4 win. Do the Dreadnaughts have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Titans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
