It was a good run, but Mounds View unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Andover Huskies by a score of 70-68. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (64), the Mustangs still had to take the loss.

Mounds View's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Andover, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mounds View will head out to take on Chisago Lakes Area at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Mounds View's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests. As for Andover, they will take on Spring Lake Park at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
