North Summit came tearing into Friday's contest with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.6 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 53-45 victory over the Beaver Beavers. That's more bragging rights for the Braves, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

North Summit's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ellie Stephens led the charge by dropping a double-double on 13 points and 17 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Stephens a new career-high in blocks (four). Another player making a difference was Hayzlyn Murdock, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 boards.

North Summit smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in 17 consecutive matchups.

North Summit pushed their record up to 16-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Beaver, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5.

North Summit wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 65-26 victory against Duchesne on the 23rd. Beaver has also already played their next contest, a 47-38 win against Millard on the 21st.
