Baseball Recap: Humble Takes a Loss

Humble saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 5-1 to the Marshall Mavericks.

Santiago Guerrero was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, he didn't allow a single hit, allowed only an earned run over five innings pitched. Guerrero was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Humble's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6-1. As for Marshall, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, Humble will take on MacArthur at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marshall, they will take on Gilmer in a tournament on Thursday.
