Fennimore's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Darlington Redbirds a 20-0 shutout. The Golden Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by six runs or more this season.

Fennimore's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-6. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Darlington, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-16 record this season.

As of now, neither Fennimore nor Darlington have any future games scheduled.
