Soccer Game Preview: North Ridgeville vs. Avon + How To Watch

North Ridgeville hasn't had much luck against Avon recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Rangers will head out on the road to square off against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. North Ridgeville's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

North Ridgeville saw some tournament action on Wednesday. They beat Green by a goal, winning 2-1.

Meanwhile, Avon had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.7 goals) and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They never let the Invaders get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory. Give Avon's defense some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

Their offense was hitting Normandy from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Grady Kramer led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Avon's win bumped their record up to 12-2-3. As for North Ridgeville, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6-3.

North Ridgeville suffered a grim 4-1 defeat to Avon in their previous meeting back in August. Can the Rangers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
