While Logansport's victory against La Porte wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Berries had just enough and edged out the Slicers 7-5. Seven seems to be a good number for the Berries as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Josh Middleton tossed a big game, pitching 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Carson Dubes, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2024. Hudson Shank was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Logansport has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs this season. As for La Porte, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
