Wake Forest and Wakefield are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Cougars will be playing at home against the Wolverines at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. Wakefield took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Wake Forest, who comes in off a win.

Wake Forest played against Knightdale on Wednesday and won via forfeit.

On Thursday, Wakefield came up short against Millbrook and fell 5-3. Wakefield have struggled against Millbrook recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Kayli Barlett and Mallory Stroud scored all three of Wakefield's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 26 goals.

Wake Forest's victory bumped their record up to 12-1-3. As for Wakefield, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6-2.

Wake Forest beat Wakefield by a goal when the teams last played back in March, winning 3-2. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Wolverines have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
