Preview: Mitchell Bluejackets vs. Orleans Bulldogs
The Mitchell Bluejackets will play host again and welcome the Orleans Bulldogs, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mitchell will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 344th, while Orleans is ranked 66th).
Last Saturday, Mitchell came up short against Salem and fell 43-34.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Orleans beat Austin 56-50 on Saturday.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Orleans to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mylie Knight, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Callie Alston, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and six steals.
Mitchell's defeat was their tenth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 1-21. As for Orleans, their victory bumped their record up to 18-3.
