Recap: Dunnellon Tigers vs. Trinity Catholic Celtics
Even though the Trinity Catholic Celtics scored an imposing 57 points on Friday, the Dunnellon Tigers still came out on top. Dunnellon skirted past Trinity Catholic 60-57. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Dunnellon.
Dunnellon's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Chris Henry, who scored 18 points along with five assists. Those five assists set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Tre'quori Rollerson, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds and five blocks.
The win got Dunnellon back to even at 6-6. As for Trinity Catholic, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dunnellon won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Crescent City at 4:30 p.m. on January 6th. Trinity Catholic is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Mount Dora at 7:00 p.m. on January 9th.
