Football Recap: Vasquez Victorious

The Vasquez Mustangs were able to grind out a solid win over the Roybal Titans on Thursday, taking the game 21-14. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Zack Van Ornum went supernova, rushing for 158 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.8 yards per carry. Blake Mascon helped out on the ground, rushing for 117 yards.

Vasquez's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Roybal, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vasquez will head out to challenge Littlerock at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. As for Roybal, they will venture away from home to square off against Van Nuys at 7:00 p.m. on September 5.
