Stowe suffers fifth straight loss at home

Recap: Stowe Raiders vs. Williamstown Blue Devils

The Stowe Raiders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Williamstown, falling 66-32. Stowe has struggled against Williamstown recently, as their matchup on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Williamstown's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Evan Bailey led the charge by scoring 23 points along with eight assists and eight rebounds. Bailey hasn't dropped below 15points for three straight games. Nick Mascitti was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks.

Stowe's defeat was their fifth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 1-7. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 28.6 points per game. As for Williamstown, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, Stowe and Williamstown will both be playing Northfield the next time they take the court. Stowe will host Northfield at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while Williamstown will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
