It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Vista Ridge had no problem doing just that on Friday. Everything went their way against the Montbello Warriors as they made off with a 38-13 win. The result was nothing new for the Wolves, who have now won six games by 25 points or more so far this season.

Vista Ridge found their leader in sophomore Jacob (Jb) Bourland, who forced one fumble and made 14 total tackles in addition to snagging an interception. Daniel Mcfarland also set a new season-high mark in rushing yards with 147. Jackson Dismang made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

Vista Ridge didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as (Jb) Bourland, Dismang, and Gabe Herman picked up one apiece. Herman is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least five every time he's taken the field this season. Dismang got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Vista Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Montbello, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.

Vista Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 49-3 loss against Broomfield on the 14th. Montbello does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
