Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Downtown Doral walked away with it. They came out on top against the Miami Springs Golden Hawks by a score of 59-48 on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Dolphins.

Downtown Doral had a senior duo take command as Giancarlo Romero dropped a double-double on 19 points and 21 boards and Juan Castro posted 20 points and six steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Castro has scored at least a third of Downtown Doral's points. Paolo Guerrero was another key player, putting up nine points.

Downtown Doral's victory bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Miami Springs, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.
