Baseball Recap: Mclaurin Wins Going Away Against Meridian

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against North Forrest, McLaurin was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Meridian Wildcats with a sharp 11-4 win.

McLaurin now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Meridian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Tigers take on the Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Meridian, they will challenge Forest Hill at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meridian has given up an average of 9.1 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
