            Softball Recap: South Tahoe Vikings vs. Wooster Colts        
        
		
        
        
            South Tahoe won against Truckee  last Saturday with 22  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Wednesday. The Vikings put the hurt on the Wooster Colts with a sharp  22-1 win. The Vikings have beaten the Colts the last six times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Colts has come to flipping the script.

The team  relied heavily on  Haylee Boring, who  scored four  runs and  stole six bases while going 3-for-3. Those  four  runs gave  her a new career-high.  Samantha Ebright was another key player,  scoring four  runs and  stealing six bases while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.
 South Tahoe  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .844. They are 3-1 when  they post an OBP of .513 or better.
South Tahoe's victory bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Wooster,  they are  on  a  14-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.
 Coming up, South Tahoe will challenge Sparks at 1:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Wooster, they will welcome North Valleys  at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday. The Panthers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more  runs each  contest than the last.
