Basketball Recap: Clifton Jones Jr. and Hasan Powell Secure Win for Harding

Harding lost to McMahon back in December of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Harding Presidents skirted past the McMahon Senators 51-49.

Leading Harding to victory were Hasan Powell and Clifton Jones Jr.. Powell went 5 of 10 en route to 12 points, while Jones Jr. posted ten points and five boards. Jones Jr. is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was O'Naveis O'Reagan, who had four points and six rebounds.

The victory got Harding back to even at 2-2. As for McMahon, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Harding will welcome Maloney at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for McMahon, they will head out to take on Stamford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
