Baseball Recap: King Comes Up Short

King was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Durant Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-6 back in February.

Martin Galo made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

King's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Durant, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

King will host Armwood at 7:00 p.m. on March 25th. As for Durant, they will venture away from home to challenge Brandon at 7:00 p.m. on March 25th.
