Softball Recap: Shadow Ridge Comes Up Short

Shadow Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Bonita Bearcats, falling 11-2. That's two games in a row now that the Mustangs have lost by exactly nine runs.

Shadow Ridge saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rosely Hensley-Mokiao, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Shadow Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Bonita, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Shadow Ridge beat Bonita by a score of 7-6 on Saturday.
