Soccer Recap: Momence Takes a Loss

Momence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Kankakee Kays, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, Momence can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 384th, while Kankakee are ranked 149th).

Momence's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Kankakee, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Momence didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 0-0 defeat against Crete-Monee on the 9th. As for Kankakee, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 9-0 loss against Joliet West on the 12th.
