Walther Christian Academy never got on the board in their matchup last Saturday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Westmont on Saturday. They blew past the Sentinels 31-8. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Broncos' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Walther Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Titus Johnson led the charge by throwing for 172 yards and three TDs on only 15 passes, while also rushing for 56 yards. Meekyel Sams was Johnson's top target, picking up zero receiving yards.

Walther Christian Academy's run defense was locked in: Westmont could only muster 3.1 yards per carry. The Broncos didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged eight.

Walther Christian Academy picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 3-5. As for Westmont, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
