Volleyball Recap: Bear River Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Bear River lost against Stansbury back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bears fell just short of the Stallions by a score of 3-2. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The 3-2 doesn't really show just how close this match was: all the sets Bear River lost were decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-22, 25-22, 20-25, 19-17.

Emry Evans paced Bear River's offense, picking up 21 kills. Evans got some help from Brynlee Garn and her 34 assists. Garn also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kailyn Rice, each putting up four.

Bear River's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Stansbury, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-16.

Bear River has already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Sky View on the 16th. As for Stansbury, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Snow Canyon on the 23rd.
