After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Stockdale, McMullen County was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Benavides Eagles with a sharp 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cowboys also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant McMullen County was: they took every set by at least 21 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-2, 25-4, 25-3.

McMullen County is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-12 record this season. As for Benavides, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Coming up, McMullen County will take on Jones at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Benavides, they will venture away from home to challenge Bruni at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
