West Bladen had already won 12 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 37.8 points) and they went ahead and made it 13 on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Midway Raiders 74-34. With the Knights ahead 40-16 at the half, the game was all but over already.

West Bladen's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Hezekiah Adams, who posted 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Pait, who earned 17 points.

Midway's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Wyatt Herring, who had seven points. Another player making a difference was Travis Gist, who scored seven points.

West Bladen pushed their record up to 20-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.0 points over those games. As for Midway, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-5.

West Bladen has already played their next matchup, a 47-31 victory against Fairmont on the 11th. As for Midway, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 56-46 win against Red Springs on the 11th.
