Wilder waltzed into their match on Wednesday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They put the hurt on the North Star Huskies with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Huskies, too.

Natalie Escutia was her usual excellent self, getting ten digs, eight kills, six aces, and two blocks. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September of 2023. Another player making a difference was Nancy Ramirez, who had eight digs, two kills, and 12 assists.
Wilder was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 12 aces in four consecutive matchups.
Wilder's win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-1. As for North Star, their loss dropped their record down to 6-12.
Wilder will play host again on Thursday to welcome Idaho City, where the match is scheduled at 7:00 p.m. Idaho City will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Wilder surely won't give up without a fight. As for North Star, they will venture away from home to face off against Rimrock at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Star is facing Rimrock at the right time seeing as Rimrock is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
