Brentwood Christian waltzed into their game on Saturday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They walked away with a 64-53 win over the Bishop Dunne Falcons. Given the Bears' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 173rd, while the Falcons are ranked 701st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Despite the defeat, Bishop Dunne had strong showings from Johnny Green, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds, and Miles Slovacek, who went 5 for 6 on his way to 14 points and three steals. That's the most points Slovacek has posted since back in November of 2024. Kei Scott was another key player, putting up 11 points and five boards.

Brentwood Christian's victory bumped their record up to 26-8. As for Bishop Dunne, their loss dropped their record down to 10-18.
