Greeley West came into Thursday's game having lost 17 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 60-57 victory over the Adams City Eagles on Thursday. The Spartans' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Greeley West's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Adams City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Greeley West and Niwot will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. As for Adams City, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Montbello at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
