Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Faith Baptist Christian Academy walked away with it. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Hope Christian Academy Lions on Saturday. The win was nothing new for the Crusaders as they're now sitting on five straight.

Sophie Sellars paced Faith Baptist Christian Academy's offense, picking up 12 kills. Sellars got some help from Lexi Vasquez and her 14 assists. Finally, LJ Nettles kept Faith Baptist Christian Academy's defense grounded, leading the team with six blocks.

Faith Baptist Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 37-4. As for Hope Christian Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-5 record this season.
