Softball Recap: Clovis Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Clovis's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-0 to the Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Wildcats' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it nine in a row.

Clovis' defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Carlsbad, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Clovis is set to challenge their familiar foe Hobbs at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Carlsbad will take on rival Roswell at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
