Basketball Recap: Dawson School Comes Up Short

After flying high against Clear Creek last Friday, Dawson School came back down to earth. The Dawson School Mustangs were just a bucket shy of victory on Wednesday and fell 45-44 to the Estes Park Bobcats.

Estes Park got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Madison Davis out in front who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine boards. Marli Davis was another key player, dropping a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds.

Dawson School's defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Estes Park, their win bumped their record up to 3-12.

Dawson School has already played their next game, a 29-23 victory against SkyView Academy on the 7th. As for Estes Park, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 43-42 win against Belleview Christian on the 7th.
