Kaden Hess was a major factor no matter where he played. He pitched seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run. Those two hits gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Nikolas Schwartz and Tanner MoDavis did most of the damage at the plate: Schwartz went a perfect 4-for-4 with one run, while MoDavis got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one RBI. Those four hits gave Schwartz a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Nathan Frantz, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.
